Ex-agitators of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, ‘General’ John Tommy; leader of Gorilla camp, ‘General’ Victor Mike; leader of Kemekokogha camp, ‘General’ Ayakeme Ebikeseye; leader of Elephant camp, ‘General’ Blessing Oroubiye; leader of Brabi Camp and ‘General’ Gallant Awe, leader of Osowei camp both from Delta State have passed a vote of confidence on the the administrator of PAP, Dr. Dennis Otuaro for his unbeatable leadership, reinvigorating and revamping the almost collapsing PAP.
The third phase leaders commended Otuaro for reinstating crucial programmes, including scholarships, foreign educational opportunities, and vocational training, while expressing gratitude for the recent Niger Delta stakeholders’ meeting in Warri, Delta State, which brought together beneficiaries of PAP.
The leaders also applauded Otuaro for reintroducing and overhauling the PACOSOL cooperative scheme, pledging their support for his efforts to transform the programme and improve the lives of its beneficiaries. However, the Third Phase leaders highlighted the challenges faced by the Third Phase, adding that despite their decision to accept the Presidential Amnesty offer by handing over their multi-million naira weapons, they are suffering with just N65000.
