Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has inaugurated a new motor park in Ekeremor Community, Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency.
The inauguration ceremony, which took place today, was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Nimibofa Ayaowei, representing the Bayelsa State Government; Hon. Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; Commissioner for Special Duties (Bayelsa West), Hon. Michael Magbisa; Sagbama Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Alice Tangi Allen; and traditional rulers from Sagbama and Ekeremor LGAs.
The Ekeremor Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Onniye Isaac Ziminiyain, received and entertained Senator Dickson and his entourage. The new motor park is a significant infrastructure development project aimed at providing a convenient and safe parking space for vehicles in the community especially road transport operators.
The community celebrated the inauguration with enthusiasm, appreciating the initiator of the project for efforts in infrastructure development.
With this new motor park, the people of Ekeremor LGA now have a better place to park their vehicles, enhancing the overall convenience and safety of the community.
