Yesterday, we witnessed firsthand the “White Coat Ceremony.” of the pioneer medical students of Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa.
The White Coat Ceremony is an official event that marks the “transition from Basic Medical Science to Clinical Science.”
The program recorded great attendance from professional Medical Doctors, Lecturers, parents of students and government functionaries.
The Chairman, house committee on health in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. (Dr) Godbless N. Oyinke was also a special guest and encouraged students to be hardworking while advancing their academic and doctorial program.
We joined all the government functionaries, the management of the school, the lecturers, parents and other stakeholders in congratulating the awarded students, who out of many, wrote and passed the exams that qualified them for the white coat ceremony.
Congratulations to them!
